In 2020, a group of podcasters came together with a common goal: to get valuable audio content to audiences in a broad variety of topic areas. We also had the intention of increasing the accessibility of information so it could be shared around the world.
We set out to translate one of our own podcasts from English into Spanish.
This turned out to be more difficult than we expected. The process was complicated and involved too many steps — uploading and downloading files from one software to another. We were not confident that the translation of our content was accurate. And having multiple software subscriptions was expensive.
We knew there had to be a better way to translate voice audio from one language to another.
So we designed our own solution. We built a software that combines transcription, translation, and voicing into a single application, and we named our product Victor Voice.
With Victor Voice, we simplified our workflow from what used to take three different applications to using only one. We also built in a tool that allowed us to check the meaning of our translations without having to know both languages or hire a human translator. That tool gave us confidence that we could create content in a fast and affordable way without compromising the quality of our message. Victor Voice has revolutionized how we translate our podcasts.
Once our software was up and running, we realized it could be useful to others outside of podcasting. Victor Voice lets you create text and audio in multiple languages and gives you control over the content of your message.
And that is why we are sharing Victor Voice with the rest of the world.
Even though we’re a software company now, we’re still a group of podcasters at heart. We care about creating quality content, delivering with integrity, and investing in personal growth. And we know that listening to others is one of the best ways to grow. These values guide us as we continue to make Victor Voice better for everyone who uses it.
Together, we envision a world where language is no barrier to communication.
